Easy Street is best known for its dance and party sounds, including a wide variety of music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and current hits from today. The band is famous for creating a dance and party atmosphere wherever it plays. Soulful vocals, tight arrangements and engaging performances keep the dance floor packed with music lovers of all ages.
Meet The Band
Formed in 2006, Easy Street combines the talents of five professional musicians, with a passion for live entertainment and an appreciation for a variety of musical genres. The band has become a staple at many venues in and around Long Island, NY, performing at weddings, private parties, clubs, restaurants, catering halls, beach venues, fund raisers and corporate events.
Paul Carlozzo
Lead Guitar, Lead Vocal
Paul is the band’s leader and handles the majority of the band’s bookings. He is a founding menber of Easy Street and brings the experience from many years working in wedding bands. Paul is also an accomplished singer, songwriter who brings that artistic touch to the band’s song arrangements.
Kathy Carlozzo
Lead Vocal, Percussion
Kathy provided vocals during the band’s early years and officially joined the Band in 2019. She is an accomplished rock singer who also does choral work at SUNY Stony Brook. Kathy is the band’s webmaster and handles additional band bookings.
John Von Lang
Drums, Backing Vocals
John founded The Band Easy Street back in 2006. He has kept the band in time for these 20 years bringing a variety of styles to the band’s repertoire. John is equally comfortable providing a relaxed half time beat or wailing away with four on the floor.
Gary Ris
Bass, Backing Vocals
Originally playing in Brooklyn bands, Gary joined Easy Street in 2017 and handles most of the band’s sound setup. In additon to his work in Easy Street, Gary works with song writer and producer Gutherie Jenkins and is a theatrical sound designer.
John Glaser
Keys, Guitar, Vocals
John is the band’s newest member who brings a great blend of keyboards, guitar, and vocals. John’s flair for song composition has provide the foundation for the band’s journey into more dance rhythms.
